Most financial institutions (FI) ask for additional authentication alongside your credentials, known as Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). This is done to ensure your account is safe and secure.
When linking your bank account to Ampli, your FI will require this information as well (don't worry, we don't store any of this info, we simply act as a bridge to pass it over).
Based on your personal security settings on your FI and their security measures, this information may be requested from time to time in order to keep your bank accounts linked. Are you seeing this issue frequently? This is mostly due to the fact that your FI or your security settings on your FI requires MFA each time you login.
