If you notice that you're missing cash back for eligible purchases made at partner brands and your bank account is still connected, first check the offer to make sure your purchase qualifies. If that doesn’t work, you may need to refresh your bank account. This is sometimes necessary due to factors like Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
Refreshing your bank account essentially reconnects it to Ampli. That way, we can match eligible offers with your transactions. And, that means cash back in your Ampli balance!
Below are a few easy steps you can follow to refresh your bank account in the app. Your missing cash back should appear if you completed an eligible purchase.
Note: Don’t delete any connected or disconnected bank accounts. This will prevent you from earning on any eligible unearned transactions.
If the sync date looks out of date, you should refresh your account. There are multiple places from which you can refresh your account:
On your Connected bank accounts screen - swipe left on the bank account you want to refresh, and tap the Refresh button.
You can also quickly refresh your account when on the Profile, Earning history or Cash out screens by tapping on the Account connection menu, then tapping on the Refresh button next to the bank account you want to refresh.
Refreshing can take anywhere from 1 minute to 24 hours to complete.
Once connected, we’ll be able to view your eligible transactions from partner brands and reward you with any cash back!
